Dr. Juss Kaur began painting 20 years ago and is from Montreal. Creating art is a form of meditation and a spiritual dialogue for Juss. This art exhibition will feature art pieces from her Reflective Mantra Series. Each painting contains the Sikh Mantra – vwihgUru (Vaheguru), pronounced “Vah-hay-guroo.” Vah means Infinite, hay means Thou, and Guru means the Higher Self (the Divine Teacher within you). The meditation sessions will be held in conjunction with the McGill and Concordia Students Sikh Associations.

The Art & Meditation sessions will be held at the following times:

8:30 am – 9:30 am | 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm | 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm

The art is available for viewing all day.

Dr. Juss Kaur, basée à Montréal, a commencé la peinture il y a 20 ans. Pour Juss, l’art est une forme de méditation et de dialogue spirituel. Cette exposition mettra de l’avant des oeuvres d’art de sa collection Reflective Mantra Series. Chaque tableau contient le mantra Sikh –  (Vaheguru), prononcé “Vah-hay-guroo”. Vah signifie l’infini, hay signifie vous, et Gurusignifie le moi supérieur ( l’être Divin en vous). Les sessions de méditation seront tenues en conjonction avec l’Association Étudiante Sikh de l’université McGill et de l’université Concordia.

Les sessions d’art et méditation se tiendront aux heures suivantes :

8 h 30 – 9 h 30  | 12 h 30 – 13 h 30  |  17 h 30 – 18 h 30

L’exposition d’art sera ouverte toute la journée.
